ABOUT THE EVENT
The Consumer Directed Care reform provides consumers with the opportunity to have a significant level of flexibility and choice in the Aged Care services they receive. This consumer driven approach means that clients will have greater control over the individual structure and costs of the services provided to them. In response to this, Aged Care providers must adapt their financial management systems to deal with a competitive, market driven system whereby funding is variable.
The Consumer Directed Aged Care Financial Management Evolution 2014 will offer an exceptional speaker faculty, addressing the business challenges associated with the transition to the Consumer Directed Aged Care model. It will provide practical strategies and insights on how to go about managing new financial requirements that have been brought about as a result of the change. The conference will present delegates with proactive approaches for adapting to the changes to funding arrangements and accounting processes, and also discuss tactics to ensure consumers have increased transparency on the cost of services. This will equip delegates with the skills required to educate staff members on effectively communicating financial aspects to clients.
