ABOUT THE EVENT
The Health and Aged Care Sector in Australia is a unique operating environment, the health and well being of its patients depending on the informed decisions and timely actions and responses of its leaders. Women clearly hold a majority of the roles within the Health and Aged Care Industry, however the workforce is predominantly female, few women occupy senior leadership positions in clinical, corporate and policy areas across the key organisations in the sector.
The Women in Health and Aged Care Leadership Summit 2014 explores the obstacles and challenges that both emerging and existing female leaders continue to face in this unique environment, delivering a range of strategies and tools to enhance leadership effectiveness .
The summit will analyse the multifaceted, evolving nature of the Health and Aged Care Sector, including how women in the sector can increase their scope as influential leaders, and ways in which they can optimise their capacity to excel in their careers.
