IoT Connect 14
Australia’s key innovators, platform developers and telecoms will gather at IoT Connect 14 to explore multimodal synergies between the ecosystems of Internet of Things. The two-day event will take place on 2nd and 3rd December at Park Royal Darling Harbour in Sydney.
The big players like Google, Samsung and Microsoft have made huge investments in the platforms that will foster the developer environment required to push IoT forward. Many now believe that the real opportunities in IoT exist in the creation of new apps and communities on top of the existing platforms, in ecosystems such as smart cities, home, health, wearables, transport and agriculture.

Connected Cars – the mobility device that will help shape safer and smarter drivers will be explored by Henry Bzeih, Head of Connected Car, CTO, Kia Motors.
Melanie Nutter, Director of Environment at City and County of San Francisco will be sharing the US’ experience in creating a smarter city – the challenges and advantages associated with smart cities and public reception.
