AIM Outstanding Women Series with Jo Cavanagh OAM FAIM

Experiencing her own difficulties in her teenage years, Jo Cavanagh OAM FAIM became one of Family Life’s first clients. Now the CEO, Ms Cavanagh has seen this not-for-profit organisation grow from 10 staff to more than 125 staff and 400 volunteers. In that time, Family Life has provided counselling and support services to more than 7000 vulnerable families and young people in Victoria.

Jo Cavanagh will take to the stage to share her unique leadership insights at AIM’s highly acclaimed Outstanding Women Series breakfast which returns to Melbourne on Friday 17 July.

Ms Cavanagh is without doubt, a passionate advocate for vulnerable children and families and was recognised for her services to the community with an Order of Australia in 2013. Her inspirational leadership also saw her acknowledged as one of Australian Financial Review and Westpac’s 100 Women of Influence in 2014.

The Outstanding Women Series has featured some of Australia’s most prominent women since former Victorian Premier Joan Kirner and Julia Gillard as the event’s 100th speaker.

Now in its 21st year, these popular events are a fantastic opportunity for attendees to:

– Share in the wit and wisdom of inspirational female leaders

– Networking with like-minded professionals

– Engage in a truly rewarding mentoring experience
