Film Victoria invests in seven features and six games
Film Victoria has announced a new round of funding to fiction feature films as well as games.
The 13 projects include 7 films and six games through its Screen Development – Fiction Features; and Games Investment programs.
Film Victoria CEO Jenni Tosi said: “Development is where it all begins, so our aim is to nurture creative talent and original concepts, and support projects as they evolve.”
“For screenwriting, this is about developing craft and helping a project move through the stages of development, so that an initial idea or vision can be turned into a production-ready script.”
“For games, it’s about supporting the development of prototypes or full games that display technical, creative or design innovation with a view to commercialisation.”
The $590,000 investment concludes the 2011/12 funding rounds, for a total of $1.4m of investment over the financial year.
