The appointment comes three months after former executive creative director, Michael Knox moved to Grey’s Hong Kong office to take on the role of chief creative officer.

Moss joins Grey after two years with Che Proximity, and has also held creative roles at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, US agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Gotham Inc.

The newly appointed creative leader has worked on campaigns for American Express, Bonds, Lexus, Microsoft, Telstra and Tooheys.

Claudia McInerney, managing director at Grey Melbourne said the agency was “thrilled” to have ‘Mossy’ join the team.

“His enthusiasm for great ideas is infectious and Mossy is already making a great impact for our clients.”

Of his new role, Moss said: “I’ve admired their consistently famous work long before even considering a career in advertising.

“So I feel blessed to be in a position where I can help shape the next chapter and continue their well-entrenched tradition of creative excellence.”

Paul Worboys, chief operating officer at Grey Group Australia said he looked forward to seeing what the Melbourne office had to offer as the Australian agency celebrates its 100th year.

Grey Melbourne’s clients include WorkSafe Victoria, White King, Ambi Pur, Gillette and Covergirl.
