MullenLowe Profero MD Dave Bentley to depart after eight years
Dave Bentley, managing director of MullenLowe Profero, is leaving the company after eight years.
In his time at the agency, Bentley grew the local business by 180%, leading Australian operations for nearly seven years.
The business said Bentley has left the company “to spend time with his family and pursue a yet undisclosed venture.”
Bentley will be replaced by Chris Henderson, client service director for MullenLowe Profero Sydney, an internal promotion that Bentley welcomed.
“Chris is both an exceptional strategic and commercial talent and one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with. He has a fantastic vision for where the business should be heading, and has had a profound impact on our client relationships and the quality of challenger work we produce,” Bentley said.
Henderson’s new role will be managing the Sydney team, working alongside Ashadi Hopper, Richard Szalay and Rebecca Ringrose.
Henderson launched the agency’s customer experience offer with QIC and prior to that worked at AKQA Amsterdam as account director for nine years.
Henderson said of his promotion: “The last two years with MullenLowe Profero have given me a unique insight into what drives the success of such a distinctive and interesting organisation.”
“By blending technology and data with creativity and design thinking we can help solve business challenges from the customer’s perspective. That’s extremely exciting for us and I’m honoured to lead such a talented team who share that mission.”
