Mumbrella reveals senior leadership structure

Mumbrella has named Damian Francis as its editorial director. This cements Mumbrella’s senior leadership team, which sees Francis working alongside the commercial director, Victoria Seymour.

Francis will re-join Mumbrella in late November, and has more than a decade of experience working across media and marketing titles. Francis returns after most recently holding a role at Unmade as its managing partner. Prior to that, Francis led the news and event content team at Mumbrella as head of content, before his departure in late 2021. He has also held senior journalism roles at Adnews and Future Publishing.

Mumbrella recently promoted sales director Seymour to the role of commercial director to lead Mumbrella’s growth agenda.

Seymour has over a decade of commercial experience, with the last seven years growing Mumbrella’s commercial offerings.

Together Seymour and Francis will drive the commercial and editorial mission and be the voice of Mumbrella in the industry.

David Longman, managing director of Diversified Communications – Mumbrella’s parent company – said:  “Mumbrella is committed to the delivery of high-quality journalism and content across our content platforms and to provide market responsive opportunities to deliver on our growth agenda.“We are confident this newly created structure will support us to deliver trusted media and marketing content for the media and marketing industry that is transparent and balanced.

“Victoria and Damian will together be a strong force to drive the strategic direction for Mumbrella on both the editorial and commercial fronts including news, event content, paid content and event delivery.“This is a new phase for Mumbrella, and we are confident this new leadership structure will serve our audiences, our customers and our brand well, now and into the future.”
