Realestateview.com.au launches social media campaign

Realestateview.com.au has launched a social media campaign created by  digital agency Citrus.

The announcement:

Digital agency Citrus has launched a social media campaign in conjunction with property portal realestateVIEW.com.au to build brand awareness and engagement using Twitter.

Citrus and realestateVIEW.com.au have developed a campaign – The Hottest Property on the Market – which allows consumers to vote for “hot” properties through their Twitter accounts. Fans simply tweet the realestateVIEW.com.au property they like the most and then go in the draw to win a $1,000 Freedom Furniture voucher, given away weekly.

realestateVIEW.com.au has rolled out the competition to engage the 24 plus demographic who are actively engaged in the residential property market and enjoy sharing their experiences with friends and family – why not tweet about it?

realestateVIEW.com.au head of marketing and technology Teresa Sperti said the campaign provides an interesting and unique way to promote the site and connect with new consumers.

“As consumers are already engaging with their networks as part of their property search, we felt social media provided a perfect platform to get more people talking and sharing from realestateVIEW.com.au.

“The excitement of finding that perfect property is something people find hard to contain – this campaign capitalises on that hype and allows people a simple mechanic to share and win.”

Peter Noble, CEO of Citrus said, “There’s no doubt the power of social media in marketing campaigns is growing and we’re thrilled to work on this exciting competition with realestateVIEW.com.au. Expanding brand awareness through social media has endless connections and possibilities and really taps in to growing consumer demand for added value from brands.”

The campaign will be supported by email marketing and Facebook advertising.
