Wonderful wins brand and full digital marketing account for Aussie online auction house

Artbid, Australia’s first online-only art auction house, has appointed digital agency Wonderful for its brand and full digital marketing services.

The agency will manage Artbid’s brand creation, identity, platform design and development as well as its go-to-market strategy, CRM, SEO, loyalty and paid media.

Artbid has appointed Wonderful for brand and full digital services

Artbid’s platform enables artists to showcase their work digitally, and allows collectors to bid via a digital live auction.

Wonderful has integrated Artbid’s existing WordPress site with an auction technology platform, Bidpath. It also implemented a CRM platform to capture user data and drive marketing automation.

The agency will be responsible for the brand’s SEO and marketing strategies tailored to the art community – including content marketing and targeted digital advertising.

Guy Rob, Artbid’s managing director, said in the competitive art market, brand awareness is crucial.

“Establishing a strong and credible identity, backed by a trusted and secure online platform, is essential,” he said.

“Wonderful’s demonstrated they have the full suite of services we needed and have consistently shown their expertise and agility in bringing this Australian first product to life. We look forward to continuing the productive relationship as we embark on this exciting journey together.”

Wonderful’s founder and managing director, Matt Barbelli, said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed by Artbid and are already working with them to build this innovative new brand from the ground up.

“Fusing Wonderful’s creative, technology and data-driven capabilities, we’ve developed a comprehensive digital platform that delivers an exceptional user experience while showcasing incredible Australian art and artists,” he continued.

“This is just the start, our team will manage the ongoing end-to-end digital marketing strategy and implementation to drive attention and buyers to the site.”
