Darren Lehmann to remain as face of home improvement brand Fielders until 2017

Australian cricket coach Darren Lehmann, currently rallying his demoralised troops after being trounced by England in the opening Ashes test, is to remain as the face of Fielders Home Improvements until 2017.

The announcement:

Cricketing legend and coach, Darren Lehmann, will continue as the face of the Fielders Home Improvements product range, re-signing as Brand Ambassador for another two years.

The renewed partnership will see the high profile sportsman represent multiple brands under the Fielders portfolio including the Centenary Patio, Carport and Veranda brand, Endurance Sheds, plus Dominator fencing.

Following the contract extension in June, Lehmann expressed his enthusiasm about maintaining involvement with the Australian steel manufacturer.

“It’s a great partnership to be involved with and I’m thrilled to remain with an Australian company that is producing quality products I trust,” said Lehmann.

“After the World Cup win, support from the Fielders community was incredible – I look forward to building on the work we have done to date by continuing my involvement and collaboration with the brand for another two years.”

Being an integral part of the Fielders brand since 2010, Lehmann’s continuation as the company’s brand ambassador will include involvement in various future marketing initiatives, social media campaigns and guest appearances.

Kym Cobb, National Home Improvements Manager for Fielders, said how pleased the organisation was to have Darren continue as the face of Fielders.

“Darren is the ideal representative for Fielders, not only for his passion for the brand, but because of the way customers identify with his approachable and easy-going charm,” he said. “We are delighted to partner with him again and continue the strong relationship that has already been built.”

The partnership with Lehmann will also extend to the company’s sponsorship of the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy, an initiative that fosters the growth and development of young cricketers in Australia.

“As a major sponsor of the Academy, we’re proud to not only support Darren on this excellent program, but more importantly, have an impact on the careers of our country’s emerging sports stars. We’re looking forward to the growth of many individuals over the next two years.” said Cobb.

The partnership renewal will see Darren Lehmann remain the face of Fielders until at least June 2017.
