Kevin O’Lemon returns in zesty Liberal Party ad
A TV campaign for the Liberal Party depicts prime minister Julia Gillard and her predecessor Kevin Rudd as lemons, reviving the Kevin O’Lemon campaign of a year ago.
Using the same voice over as June last year, when the Kevin O’Lemon character was introduced, the ad also lambasts Green Party leader Bob Brown, who is depicted as “calling the shots” on the carbon tax.
“Now, Kevin O’Lemon’s popping up everywhere because he really wants his job back,” the ad reads. Gillard is attacked for lying about the carbon tax.
Kevin Knifed??? The spin was Julia was merely taking a stab in the dark at being Australia’s first woman PM and Kevin happened to take a wrong turn and stepped in her way. This is now turning into a fascinating “murder-suicide” conspiracy – they are killing each other’s political dreams! Which is great because it’ll be the end of a nightmare government for us.

2 times too many in my opinion…
Can’t they come up with any original advertising instead of using the same ad over and over again.

Like Bunnings eh Scott?

Although it’s annoying that the Bunnings ads are all the same, but they seem to work for them as they spend a lot of money paying for the spots…
But in my opinion originality is always better.

Anyone remember “read my lips, there will be no GST”, or “there is no doubt that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction”? Precedent set … and still some way to go to match those beauties! Hypocrisy-o-meter is registering like crazy!
