Mamamia – that’s some Kochie advertising
There are very few people who thought they would see David Koch’s beaming face on the front page of the Mamamia website after they entered into a massive feud with each other yesterday.
Maybe this is what Adam Ferrier means when he says advertising can be used to help solve the problems in the world.
Hi Mumbo – I’ve not idea why you’ve bought me into this – but now that you have here’s my point of view (it’s been fascinating to watch).
It’s very, very hard having a dissenting view in this fully connected world. It’s easier to be popularist. Therefore the onus is on those doing the dissenting to ensure they pick their battles well, and when they go into battle they are well prepared and organised.
Love and Peace,
Adam

Hey Mumbo,
No surprises here… The journo has gone to Kochies kbbdigital site then gone on to Mammamia and been retargeted. I wonder if Mammamia even know this is happening (they will now). This example shows the dangers of simply opting in to the Google Ad Exchange without monitering which ads appear on your site. I just recreated this same scenario, and you at home can do the same! Simply go to Kochies kbbdigital website then going to mammamia and voilà!

And this is why I think you’re a fab Mr Ferrier, I really admire the courage of your conviction to speak your mind, and it’s always an interesting thought to hear.
