MediaCom Melbourne appoints Anny Havercroft as innovation director

Anny HavercroftMediaCom Melbourne has appointed Anny Havercroft from the network’s London office as group director, innovation and technology.

Havercroft will replace Andrea Rule, who is taking a break from the industry.

The Australian will report into MediaCom’s Sydney-based head of innovation and technology, Nic Hodges.

Havercroft was one of the founding members of MediaCom Beyond Advertising in London, and has worked on brands including Gillette,
Nikon, Royal Dutch Shell and Universal Pictures.

Hodges commented: “I’m hoping that Anny will take up where Andy [Rule] left off. Which is to drive innovation for our clients and look to leverage digital through, and integrate digital into the communications mix.”

He added that Rule would be returning to MediaCom’s innovation and technology team in Australia, although which office has yet to be decided.
