Soccer federation hunts for PR agency to boost profile of women’s league
Football Federation Australia is looking for a PR company to raise the profile of women’s soccer.
The winning agency will work on a campaign to help the launch of the new season of the W-league, starting in October and running through to February.
An FFA spokesperson told Mumbrella: “Women’s football in Australia has a substantial player base, a strong domestic league and a world class national team.”
“Capitalising on the many fantastic stories, teams and individuals women’s football has to offer is a key priority for FFA and one that needs the attention of a wide reaching media engagement process.”
PR support will also cover the national team, The Matildas, as well as the development of women’s football from grass roots level.
The agency will be the first to work across the W League, with Frank PR previously working on A-League.
The FFA’s other agencies include BMF and MediaCom.
