The Hoopla pledges to audit figures

he_hoopla_screen_grabNew female focused website The Hoopla has revealed its first audience numbers and pledged to submit the site for online audit later this month.

The Hoopla launched around six months ago. It was co-founded by comedian Wendy Harmer, former Notebook editor Caroline Roessler and branding consultant Jane Waterhouse.

The site said that it was now reaching 40,000 unique browsers per month and delivering 148,000 page impressions per month. Users are staying on site for an average of four minutes. A spokesman said that the site would be audited “in the next couple of weeks”.

New contributors for the site include opinion writer Tracey Spicer and Age Discrimination Commissioner Susan Ryan. Other writers include comedian Corinne Grant Seven’s and advertising practitioner Jane Caro.

Hoopla says that its target audience is 35-54 year old women.
