Clare Basire appointed Sydney GM at Thrive PR + Communications

Independent agency Thrive PR + Communications has announced the appointment of Clare Basire to the role of general manager, Sydney.

Basire has spent the past three years as business director in Sydney, and with her promotion, also joins the Thrive Executive. Her new responsibilities will include spearheading the Sydney office’s operations, as well as looking after national duties including leading client experience and service.

Additionally, Basire’s appointment to the Thrive Executive will see her drive new business divisions and ensure best practice locations are implemented across all five of Thrive’s office locations.

Prior to joining Thrive, Basire held roles including account director and marketing manager at Adhesive PR, Liquid Ideas and William Murray Communications.

Over a near-20 year career in PR and communications, she’s worked across corporate, technology, FMCG, tourism, telco and lifestyle brands, and spent time in the UK and Europe. Her recent work has included brands like Cisco, LEGO, Optus, Are Media and Twitter.
