DDB Melbourne create new brand campaign for Lindeman’s
Wine maker Lindeman’s has kicked off a global brand campaign introducing the brand’s new tagline ‘It’s the sunshine that makes it’.
The campaign, from DDB Melbourne, departs from the traditional wine commercials’ images of vineyards and barrels; instead the TV ad utilises stop-motion and “shows the relationship between humankind and sunshine”.
Executive creative director Darren Spiller said in a statement: “The sun has always made us feel good; it’s a human truth. In this campaign we’ve used the sun a metaphor for how a brand like Lindeman’s can make you feel.”
The commercial is supported with a print campaign, in-store and digital.
The first phase of the campaign launched in Sweden in September and will continue to roll out internationally over the next 12 months.
