Destination Canada and Air Canada launch an OOH campaign to entice Australians north

Destination Canada and Air Canada have partnered to launch an OOH campaign to boost tourism in the nation.

The campaign is entitled ‘Canada, You Beauty’, and features picturesque images of the Canadian wilderness with a call to action to take advantage of Air Canada’s airfares.

The campaign will appear across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland for six weeks. As well as bus stop and billboards, the ads will appear as bus and tram wraps.

Donna Campbell, managing director of Destination Canada GSA, said in a statement: “We are excited for Australians to learn more about Canada’s enthralling offerings for all interests and ages, from gigantic icebergs in Newfoundland and Labrador, to encountering polar bears in Manitoba.

“Australians are discovering that Canada’s diversity makes it the ideal holiday destination – whether you want to take a road trip through blazing autumn foliage, have front row seats to the northern lights, or hike the hundreds of parks that make up this naturally beautiful country.”

“The call to action takes Australian travellers straight to an exclusive website that provides great ideas and information for planning a trip to Canada, along with the best possible fares to wherever they want to go in Canada.”
