Edge appointed as Hunter Valley’s new content marketing and publishing partner

Edge has won a competitive pitch for the Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association (HVWTA) account to manage their digital content and social strategy and revitalise the Hunter Valley magazine and visitor guide.

The announcement:

Edge has won a competitive pitch for the Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association (HVWTA) account to manage their digital content and social strategy and revitalise the Hunter Valley magazine and visitor guide.

The HVWTA is a ‘not-for-profit’ membership body charged with destination and wine marketing for the region and its members, comprising vineyards, accommodation providers, tour operators, restaurants and cafes.

Edge’s most immediate impact will be on the Hunter Valley Magazine with an overhaul set for the second half of the year.  Running in parallel is the rethinking, integration and rollout of HVWTA’s overarching digital strategy, to ensure the Hunter Valley remains one of the most iconic and attractive destinations in Australia and around the world.

HVWTA Marketing Committee Chair, Philip Hele, OAM said:

“The Hunter Valley is a unique and magical area where memories are created and stories are shared. Edge has the right blend of spirit and experience to bring storytelling to life for our passionate and diverse audiences. With the website, social channels and magazine already enjoying considerable reach, Edge will also develop sponsorship and advertising opportunities to allow like-minded brands to leverage the Hunter Valley brand and experience.  This will improve revenues while growing audience numbers and overall engagement.”
