Emily Harridge joins Cato as general manager

Corporate identity and design management company, Cato, has named Emily Harridge as general manager.

Harridge joins the company from Hogarth Australia, where she was responsible for leading Hogarth’s virtual production local offering and laying the foundations for Hogarth’s Metaverse Foundry.

Previously, she established the content department at Clemenger Group’s eg+.

In addition, Harridge has founded production and post-production company Visual Playground. The full-service design and production studio has created opening titles, branding and graphics packages for The Logies Awards, MasterChef Australia, The Voice, Ninja Warrior, the ARIA Awards and many other recognisable TV brands.

“With her knowledge and skills in content creation, TV production, virtual reality, virtual production and visual effects, Emily is on the lookout for what’s new in technology. This passion also extends to new ways of working, with her achievements involving setting up new departments, services, and businesses. She will be an asset at Cato,” said Ken Cato.

“I will be bringing new skills and knowledge to the business with my background in production, motion graphics and technology. Cato is already creating inspiring and captivating work Zhi Feng Tan is example of this where the team have taken the branding and design right through to architecture, animation and now to a museum of interactive sound and light projections,” said Harridge.
