‘Have a little adventure’ says Central Coast Tourism in latest campaign

Tourism Central Coast has told potential visitors to ‘have a little adventure’ in a bid to promote the short-stay travel market.

The campaign, which was created by Affinity, aims to position the central coast of New South Wales as one of Sydney’s “best kept secrets”.

The 20 second advertisement features a family playing on the beach together.

Luke Brown, CEO at Affinity, said in a statement: “Our research identified very early on that there was a clear disconnect between perceptions of the Central Coast and the actual reality. In order to shift these views, we’ve blended primary qualitative, quantitative and real time analytics data to create region-specific insights that, in-turn, informed a brand positioning we know will resonate with Sydneysiders.”

Russel Mills, director of industry services and partnerships at Tourism Central Coast, added: “From the coast all the way to the hinterland, our region has some of NSW’s best kept secrets.

“Whether you’re an adventure-seeker, foodie or just looking to relax and unwind, we’ve got the perfect little adventure waiting for you. AFFINITY’S work will not only help reposition but will surface all the amazing things that the region has to offer.”

The campaign is set to roll out across television and social.
