Interaction wins Hallmark Homes brief

Hallmark Homes has appointed creative agency Interaction to work on its digital strategy.  

The announcement:

Brisbane branding specialists and creative agency Interaction has been appointed to implement an integrated digital strategy for Hallmark Homes.

The brief includes redesign of the Queensland building company’s website, search engine optimisation, search engine marketing and online advertising campaigns.

Hallmark is one of the State’s largest homebuilders delivering up to 500 homes a year.

Interaction’s Len Hannah says Hallmark Homes recognised the need to gain a stronger presence in the online arena as this was the space most new home purchasers initially did their research.

“The company gets almost all of their business from referrals so an integrated digital strategy to support existing word-of-mouth promotion is a natural progression for Hallmark,” Mr Hannah says.

“Building companies can live or die on what customers say about them in a public forum and Hallmark is very aware of what happens if issues are not addressed.

“It’s not uncommon for their competitor’s customers to write on product review websites about how much they hated their experience with their builder, and that they should have built with Hallmark Homes in the first place.

“The strategy aims to promote the brand and manage conversations as well as put Hallmark ‘on the map’ in terms of digital communication.”

The campaign is scheduled to run from July 2010 through to February 2011.
