Sensis digital agency Found names Andrew Burke as new MD, replacing Peter Barrie

Sensis’ digital agency Found has named former Next Digital CEO Andrew Burke as its new general manager.

Burke joins Found from Racing.com where he was general manager, and replaces former Mediacom Melbourne boss, Peter Barrie, who departed to found his own company Datahat.

Barrie oversaw the launch of Found for Sensis, the brand behind the Yellow and White Pages, in 2014, with the agency aimed at creating digital marketing solutions for small and medium businesses. The agency claims to service more than 100 clients.

In his previous role Burke oversaw the launch of Racing.com, a joint-venture partnership between Seven West Media and the Victorian Racing Industry which took control of the broadcast and digital rights for racing in the State, giving it an online and free-to-air TV channel presence.

Prior to that he was CEO of Next Digital, which became APD, for five years helping the agency establish an international footprint.

Burke said: “I believe my background across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on digital, will hold me in good stead for not only understanding but helping our customers grow as they cut through an increasingly sophisticated and noisy marketplace.”

Executive general manager, James Ciuffetelli, said : “Andrew’s appointment is the next step in the evolution of this dynamic business. He brings commercial, operational and technical expertise with a mandate to shape Found Digital’s future success.”

According to its website Barrie’s new company Datahat caters to marketers, publishers and agencies in Australia, Asia, the US and Europe.
