SodaStream’s new video series turns customers into mixology pros

Sparkling water aficionado, SodaStream, has launched a video series designed to help its customers elevate their mixology game.

The announcement:

The World’s No. 1 Sparkling Water Brand has launched its debut video series featuring 25 episodes to inspire consumers to release their inner mixologist.

Designed to add more fun and flair to the art of making cocktails at home, along with enhancing the SodaStream user experience and build loyalty, each episode is hosted by a suite of familiar faces including Justin Narayan (2021 MasterChef Australia winner), Luke Hines (Co-host House of Wellness, author, and contributor) alongside Penny Hagekyriakou, SodaStream ambassador.

The series explores flavour, imagination and creativity and each episode unpacks educational and engaging insights from the brand to help elevate your cocktail creations with SodaStream, with
everything from delicious recipe inspiration to hydration tips and tricks to upping your garnish game to sustainability with SodaStream.

SodaStream marketing manager Holly Walker said “We are thrilled to share this innovative and engaging series with our SodaStream community. At SodaStream, we believe in bringing fun, flavour, and creativity to everyday life and ‘In the Mix’ is the perfect embodiment of that philosophy. While SodaStream is renowned for providing fresh sparkling water on demand, the possibilities are endless for the other sparkling drinks you can create. We can’t wait to see our customers (new and existing) release their inner mixologist and customise drinks the way they like, with our eco system”.

The series was shot and captured in Melbourne by Sherpa, a division under the Hardie Grant Media umbrella, led by studio director, Erin Oliver who said, “Creating the ‘In the Mix’ series in collaboration with SodaStream has been an incredible journey. We aimed to capture the essence of creativity and fun that SodaStream represents and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished. The series is a testament to the versatility of the brand, its product and boundless potential for crafting delicious beverages”.

To re-engage consumers and target new users, SodaStream has taken an ‘out of the box’ approach with touchpoints on its packaging to drive awareness. QR codes can now be found on the recently launched Terra Sparkling Water Maker, which directs customers to sign up and subscribe to the series. Consumers will be notified regularly via eDM when the latest ‘In the Mix’ episode is released.

‘In the Mix’ is set to become a source of inspiration for consumers across Australia and will be available to tune in to on the SodaStream website here and on the SodaStream Australia YouTube channel. Consumers can also catch snippets of the series via the brands social media platforms which officially launched on Monday 18th September 2023.

SodaStream continues to revolutionise the beverage industry and change the way the world drinks by delivering elevated experiences to consumers and empowering them to make better choices for themselves and for the planet.
