Weekend catch up House Rules episodes struggle to boost audience
Weekend catchup episodes of Seven’s Hours Rules have done little to improve the show’s audience.
Saturday’s catchup, added into the schedule at the last moment, delivered a metro audience of just 138,000. And Sunday’s catch up delivered a further 166,000 according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM.
Seven’s decision to air the catch up episodes may have partly been to introduce the show to other viewers, and in part as a make good to advertisers who had been promised bigger ratings. The show’s first week saw it struggle to get past 800,000 metro viewers, as the audience opted for Nine’s The Block instead.
The producers have got to be joking, what were they thinking.
Would anyone with any sense let a group demolish and rebuild your house without any plans, experience etc.
If this is the best that Channel 7 have got to offer then I think they ought to give up now.
We are all sick of reality shows, give us something entertaining.

Hi Richard – perhaps you haven’t seen the show, but there are approved plans and a building supervisor on site. I liked the show! It was quite an original concept, I thought.

These numbers are higher than The Block catch up episodes are delivering, so what’s your point?

I’d rather watch a dog scratch its butt than tune into this drivel.

@Black Tooth Grin isnt’ that because people actually watched the first screen of the Block so they didn’t need to catch up?
