CommBank turns a garden into a cricket pitch in new ad
CommBank is continuing its “Summer of Can” advertising activity around its Cricket Australia sponsorship with another campaign promoting a competition for new Everyday Account openers to win $10,000.
The Change Your Everyday ad – created by M&C Saatchi – features a time lapse video of a miniature cricket pitch being built in a suburban back garden.

The promotion runs alongside a separate competition being run by CommBank around The Ashes.
A bit stupid to be starting a new campaign based on cricket when the Australia Day weekend is a day away and everybody will be back at work next week signalling the end of summer and the holidays.
I suspect that when everybody is back cooped up in their offices and having to take s*** from overbearing bosses they will be very bitter and resentful that they had to “change their everyday”.
