ABC Commercial appoints head of marketing and communications

ABC Commercial’s director Robert Patterson has announced the internal appointment of Lisa Hresc as head of marketing and communications.

The announcement:

I am pleased to announce that Lisa Hresc has been appointed to the role of Head Marketing & Communications, ABC Commercial. This role is an integral part of the ABC Commercial executive and is responsible for the leadership of the core marketing team and the development, implementation and analysis of ABC Commercial’s overarching marketing strategy and brand communication.

Previously, Lisa was Head of Corporate Marketing. During this time she managed media partnerships for the ABC; including TedxSydney since 2010, Canberra’s Centenary and Australia Day Council NSW. She has managed the ABC Showcase at Parliament House each year since its inception and was the architect and lead manager of the ABCs 75th Anniversary concerts and events around Australia which brought together over 500,000 people to these events at the ABC.

Lisa also commissioned and led the concept design and construction of the new ABC digital ‘On the Road’ exhibition trailer, launching in April 2012 at the Royal Easter Show. This year she launched the ABC Brand Book for the organisation, a first for the ABC since the launch of the chrome logo in 2002. Prior to joining the ABC in 2003, Lisa’s experience spans 12 years with senior marketing and sales roles within the Australian music industry. Lisa holds an Executive MBA from University of Technology, Sydney. She has been working with the Commercial team since March this year and will officially join us in this role from Monday June 24.
