Case Study: Adshel delivers a bus-stop movie experience

Adshel has unveiled a case study featuring a campaign for the Adelaide Film Festival. The campaign – created by Adshel, Clemenger BBDO and Mediaedge CIA –  saw a busy Adelaide bus shelter turned into a mini movie theater, complete with plush seats, popcorn and a movie attendant.

The Case Study:

The Adelaide International Film Festival brings commuters a true cinema experience throughout the month of February courtesy of Adshel. The Festival team were looking for a solution to allow the target audience to experience the festival first hand, while offering a deeper and longer level of engagement.

The outdoor solution utilises Adshel Create’s Special Build facility to turn the shelter into an entertainment destination with all the trimmings. Regular bus stop seats are swapped for plush red fabric cinema seats, while red curtain trim typical to the cinema environment extends off the standard Wrap artwork. Added engagement is achieved via projecting trailers and short clips from the festival each night from 9pm direct from the shelter. This was achieved via a custom projector fitted into the shelter panel. The experience is topped off with fresh popcorn and a cinema attendant.

The campaign was created by Clemenger BBDO, Mediaedge CIA and Adshel and can be seen in Adelaide throughout the month of February.
