Comms agency Bang launches marketing tool for IBM

Communications agency Bang has announced the launch of its marketing tool Pipeline for IBM partners.

Sydney 9 March 2011 –

Sydney-based creative and strategic communications agency Bang, has announced the launch of a new channel partner marketing tool called Pipeline.

Designed specifically for IBM partners, Pipeline is a tailored marketing portal designed to spark new opportunities and create qualified leads. Pipeline offers five simple marketing campaign formats, each one designed and priced to generate maximum return for partner and vendor investment.

Different campaign packages include digital and integrated options for developing leads, and executive roundtables to progress and close opportunities. Add-ons for nurture and social media activities are also available. Bang has also significantly revamped its telemarketing services included in Pipeline, including a new cost-per-lead model.

All campaigns are run on Campaign[x], Bang’s campaign management system that’s delivered through the cloud. It lets partners view leads and ROI in real time once lead generation activities are in market.

Karl Uhrich, Account Services Director at Bang said, “We’ve already received substantial interest from the partner community. Part of this may be because the marketing mix has grown much more complex with the onset of social media and digital streams. It seems that partners are looking for accessible, easy to understand routes to market, but more importantly, ones that maximise their marketing investment. Pipeline has been designed to help partners grow their bottom line in a new way.”

“Pipeline is a nice new addition to the options available for IBM partners,” explained Annmaree Bonica, Software Channel Marketing Manager at IBM. “The program is founded on measurable results and growing market share for IBM partners, particularly in the mid-market space.”

Bang brings its experience working as a preferred Australian IBM partner marketing agency since 2007 to the new model. Bang is talking to further b2b clients and IT vendors about rolling out variant models which will help support other partner communities around Australia.
