“We’re constantly looking for people that are a passionate about digital, technology, data and customer experience. We’re also very focused on the Melbourne market and excited to kick off what will be a significant investment in the local team there.”

Hobbs said of his appointment: “What attracted me to Elephants Can Dance is their desire to push the boundaries of technology and to connect the dots across what has become a disparate user experience. They’re also an established player for data driven communications, and I’m excited to be a part of that.”

Elephants Can Dance offers digital solutions across UX, design, marketing technology, analytics and data. It is also a Google and Tealium partner.

Mandy Eyles, Tealium ANZ head of partnerships, said that the software company was excited to see the agency expand into Melbourne.

“We’ve been working with ECD for some time now and the tech and analytics capability they bring to the market is fantastic. We’re looking forward to growing our relationship with them and excited to see their move into the Melbourne market,” Eyles said.

Yousaf added: “We’re all about providing frameworks and processes that enable clients to get real value from their investment in digital and technology. We want to provide them with the right technical solution but also a way for them to monitor and optimise the performance of that solution over the long term. Once that is in place, we leverage data to amplify the results.”
