Walsh is one of Australia’s most successful media exports, having worked at Nine, Seven, Wesfarmers and GE, among others, while in Australia.

He left for the US in 2014 and has since risen to take the top job at DMG Media in the US.

At Mumbrella360 he’ll discuss the rise, the risks and the remit as he looks to continue the company’s growth in the States. DMG Media includes The Daily Mail Australia.

Meanwhile, Mannis, Hawaiian Airlines’ senior vice president – chief marketing and communications officer, will share his experiences leading the airline’s environmental sustainability initiatives and explain how he’s balanced the tension between telling the story of environmental commitment and taking substantive action.

His sustainability remit includes more obvious items like decarbonisation and sustainable aviation fuel all the way through to diverse issues such as farming, food policy and regenerative tourism.

Mannis will also touch on some of the more difficult aspects of communicating sustainability and the challenges of building momentum as a smaller player in the aviation industry.

Walsh and Mannis join other international speakers including Tourism Fiji CEO Brent Hill, and a special keynote from DE&I thought leader and corporate advisor Azure Antoinette.
