Jamie Crick has been appointed to the newly created role of social media director at Emotive.

Jamie Crick, strategic partnerships and audience director has been promoted to the newly-created role of social media director. Crick began working at the agency in February of last year.

As part of the role, Crick will be involved in growing Emotive in the influencer video marketing space and will work directly with Simon Joyce, CEO and founder of the agency.

Crick said of his appointment: “We know that video is the most engaging format for brands and we’ve seen the power that influencers have in moving their audiences to act.

We also know that it can be tricky to get right, whether it’s identifying and recruiting the best influencers, finding the content sweet spot for the audience, influencer and brand, or making sure that the work is delivered in an accountable way. My role is to help brands get this balance right.”

Joyce said Crick was a “pioneer” in the social media space: “Everything we do is through the lens of audience’s passions and their behaviour in social media. It’s critical that we have an experienced leader that is plugged into social video culture.

Jamie gives us exactly that – he has been a pioneer in this space.”
