Experiential agency BEcause opens in Australia
UK-based experiential marketing agency BEcause has opened an office in Australia.
The operation, based in Surry Hills in Sydney, will be helmed by New Zealander Meredith Cranmer, who has relocated from the London office where she was senior account director.
“Although we’re a new name in Australia, we’re backed by one of the biggest names in experiential marketing in the UK, and that gives us a real edge out here,” said Cranmer, who is looking to staff up the agency with local talent.
BEcause has worked with global advertisers Pampers, Heineken and Durex from the UK, and is in “advanced discussions” with an alcohol and technology clients in Australia.
Why the capital B and E in the agency’s name? “BEcause is a brand experience agency that creates a cause and effect that get’s people talking,” Cranmer explained.

Looks great – Meredith will you be developing your own staff base for programs or will you be outsourcing to promotions agencies?
