Helen Lear

I’m a communications consultant with ten years’ experience working in both Australia and the UK. Throughout my career I’ve been lucky enough to focus on the things I really love –food, wine, hospitality and entertainment.

Clients I’ve worked with over the years have included Kelloggs, Cadbury, Merivale,The Keystone Group, Wolf Blass Wines, Wine Australia, MasterChef Live, Magners Cider, Batlow Apples, Le Petit Blanc, IGA supermarkets, DJ Mr Scruff, Sparkle Street Music Management, Auto Festival, Decca Records and fundraising concerts Busk for the Wayside and Manchester Million.

I’m also a bit of a dab hand with a pen, contributing regularly with music and gig reviews for Drum Media and The Music, as well as writing food news and profile stories for Broadsheet.

I set up my own freelance business in March 2012 and have since worked with a fantastic range of clients including Restaurant Arras, Extra Virgin Fine Foods, Parma Cucina, The Russian Rock ‘n’ Roll Burlesque Circus, Deck Bar & Dining, Meat Free Week and the amazing Vashti Whitfield.
