Hotwire launches online hub for communications professionals to navigate COVID-19

PR agency Hotwire has launched a content hub, Comms Toolkit, to help communications and marketing professionals share their strategies on how they will be engaging with their audiences over the coming months.

The announcement:

Global communications agency Hotwire has announced the launch of its Hot Comms Toolkit, a content hub designed to help communications professionals prioritise and implement successful marketing strategy during COVID-19. The global initiative brings marketing professionals together to share best practices, strategy and resources to ensure brands effectively engage with their audience over the coming weeks and months.

Working collaboratively with Hotwire clients, and consistently updated with new resources, the hub uses Hotwire’s global experts and focuses on how to navigate the situation under five key categories: The new normal, Making the physical digital, Cutting through the noise on social media, Preparedness through planning, and Talking to stakeholders. The portal is available here.

It already includes content tackling crisis communications, best practices to efficiently engage internal and external stakeholders, the importance of tone, how to maintain and reinforce its brand reputation, the importance of measurement, and specific focuses on digital channels and formats such as podcasts, webinars, social strategies or videos that can help relay the right message to the right audience.

Hotwire is open to requests for content, and welcomes brands and external stakeholders who would like to contribute to the hub.

“Now, more than ever, brands are being challenged to effectively engage with their audience,” says Jaime Nelson, Managing Director at Hotwire Australia.

“In a sea of noise, organisations need to proactively pivot their strategies and adjust to the new norm.

“Brands have had to quickly recalibrate their priorities to focus on the stakeholders that are at risk of disruption. Brands have to be authentic, timely and engaging. How we react now will be remembered post COVID–19 . As the situation changes alongside the needs of our clients, the Hot Comms Toolkit will help build the right skills to meet these needs.”
