Grant Tothill, Head of Podcasting at SCA, today announced that the Australian sports podcast, The Howie Games is now ready to listen to on the PodcastOne website and PodcastOne app.

The Howie Games sees the biggest names in the world of sport go one-on-one with Mark Howard, who lifts the lid on the real human stories behind the headlines.

Announcing The Howie Games, Grant Tothill Head of Podcasting for Southern Cross Austereo said, “The Howie Games is a rare opportunity for listeners to get a long-form genuine insight into our sporting heroes interviewed by an inexhaustibly passionate sport tragic and expert.”

Mark (with his kids, Pickle and Penguin) brings us his refreshing interviews with stars from cricket, AFL, surfing, motorsports, horse racing, ironman, boxing, soccer, aerial skiing and more. His guests include; the polarizing and complex Kevin Pietersen talking about his career, future plans and passion to save rhinos in Africa, Ange Postecoglou and his obsession for soccer which was the glue between he and his father and his first coaching gig at 12, an emotional Ricky Ponting like you have never heard him before, Greg Norman, Layne Beachley and Michael Clarke.

In his long career there is barely a sport Mark hasn’t tackled as either a reporter or commentator including; cricket, AFL, Formula One, surfing, Moto GP, Golf, Beach Cricket, Soccer, Cycling, Red Bull Air Races, Tennis, Melbourne Cup and Summer Olympics.

Mark began his career employed by Bernie Ecclestone on the Formula One World Championship Tour and did his first interview with Michael Schumacher. He is currently a cricket commentator for Triple M for the Test Matches and for the BBL with Ten and for motorsports with Ten
