Jane Hall joins Chrissie Swan to front Mix101.1

ARN has announced that ex-Neighbours and Home & Away star Jane Hall will be joining Chrissie Swan as a presenter on Mix101.1.

The announcement:

The Australian Radio Network (ARN) is excited to present a first in Melbourne radio with the announcement of former Neighbours star Jane Hall as Chrissie Swan’s co-host for Mix101.1’s all-female breakfast show commencing Monday 6 February.

In this unique breakfast show, the two Melbourne mums are excited to be doing what friends do best as they take to the airwaves to share laughter, gossip and good times with their listeners.

Jane has been a familiar face on Australian television since she was 14, presenting the toprating reality series Weddings and wowing audiences with performances in the sell-out theatre productions of Mum’s The Word and Mum’s The Word 2: Teenagers. “For a selfconfessed morning person, going to work every day with a good mate in my home town seems too good to be true! It’s truly an honour to be part of Melbourne’s only all-girl breakfast radio show with Chrissie Swan … 2012 is shaping up to be a great year,” says Jane.

Silver Logie winner and Gold Logie nominee, Chrissie Swan, previously co-hosted Channel Ten’s popular morning show The Circle, leaving to spend more time with her two young children. In addition to having more family time, Chrissie will now also be able to spend her working hours with long-time friend Jane. “I feel very fortunate that I’ve been able to switch from my new love of television to my old love, which is radio, and to share this experience with Jane and the Mix listeners is a dream come true,” says Chrissie.

Australian Radio Network’s National Content Director, Duncan Campbell, says: “This show will create a real point of difference for us in Melbourne and with this unique combination of talent I believe we are offering a show that will enable us to be more competitive and realise the potential we know is there with Mix101.1. To hear two women on the air entertaining Melbourne will be refreshing and I’m excited that we’ve been able to make this happen.”

Jamie Row will be joining Chrissie and Jane as anchor on Mix101.1 Breakfast.
