Jetstar marketer David May heads to iSelect

david_may_jetstarJetstar’s GM of marketing David May has quit the budget airline to head up marketing at insurance brand iSelect.

May also previously worked at GE Money and Wunderman Melbourne.

May will be chief marketing officer at iSelect.

iSelect CEO Damien Waller said: “Our ambition is to create the home of comparison for Australians in the market for a household or financial service. The further development of our brand is fundamental to our continued growth and evolution as a business.  

“We are delighted that David will lead this process, leveraging his vast experience across a diverse range of sectors, including telecommunications and financial services.”

iSelect was established a decade ago  as a health insurance comparison service, and now includes car and life insurance, home loans and broadband.

May, who was with Jetstar for five years during which time he led the company’s drive into marketing via social media, starts at iSelect tomorrow.
