Job Description

Spartan Oceania is looking for an experienced and versatile Marketing manager based in Sydney with experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns. Reporting directly to the local CEO and working under the guidance of the Asia Pacific Director of Marketing & PR, the candidate will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing and outreach activities while adhering to our global brand guidelines across multiple products, as well as long-term strategy, meeting tight deadlines and a willingness and ability to adapt to changing needs.

Overview of Role

– Assist with establishing positioning, identifying target audiences, and developing marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments -on and offline.
– Plan and execute local marketing programmes end-to-end, across all channels, inclusive of but not limited to paid media, organic, direct response, CRM, OOH, affiliates and outreach, talent management and more.
– Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms.
– Extract and interpret key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics

The Work

– Assist with developing and executing marketing briefs to meet assigned objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications
– Assist with developing and executing multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels remains consistent with the global brand guidelines.
– Create and manage work in progress reports, critical paths and all marketing budgets.
– Creative asset creation and management
– Work closely with agencies or vendors involved in the marketing execution.
– Coordinate and manage the outreach program locally.
– Coordinate and manage the local ambassador program.
– Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
– Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
– Present ideas and final deliverables to all key stakeholders for all marketing programs, strategies, and budgets in the form of a real time up to date marketing plan.
– Attend both in person and online local, regional and global group meetings as required.

Skills and Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
– Experience in the sports, entertainment and/or events sector
– Experience in driving ticket sales
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– 3 – 5 years proven experience developing and executing multi channel marketing plans and campaigns for multiple products.
– Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
– Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
– Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
– Experience with marketing analytics, automation and CRM tools
– Experience with photoshop or similar creative editing software
– Any HTML knowledge and experience is a plus
– Willingness and ability to travel
