Liberals use century old train smash in latest election ad

The Liberal Party has gone back to 1913 for it latest election attack ad.

The ad focuses on issues such as Labor’s problems with its home insultation scheme, the cost of living and immigration.

It concludes with archive footage of a deliberate head-on crash between two steam trains shot at the 1913 California State Fair.

Update: And in a further attack ad released online tonight, the Liberal Party returns to a similar theme, using photofit images of the front bench.
