LinkedIn launches #InItTogether campaign
LinkedIn has launched the second iteration of its #InItTogether campaign across connected TV, out of home, social and digital.
The campaign originally debuted last June, and features real members who have found jobs with the help of LinkedIn.
“Whether you are looking to make that career shift to find your dream job or are in between jobs, the search process is that much easier (and a lot less lonely) when you can lean on people who can help,” said Shiva Kumar, LinkedIn’s head of brand marketing and communications – Australia and New Zealand.
“We see this often on LinkedIn, where a diverse community of people come together to help each other out. Our #InItTogether campaign celebrates these inspiring member stories of professionals who have leaned on their community to get closer to their dream jobs. Australia is a core market for LinkedIn, and through this campaign we hope to inspire our 10+ million members to find jobs and build fulfilling careers.”
The campaign will go live on connected TV, social, and digital, and will involve out of home media in Sydney and Melbourne.

And I thought the purpose of Linkedin was to:
1. Share Richard Branson quotes about leadership,
2. Review countless memes about what makes a good boss/bad boss
3. Post humble brags about how honoured you are to be a speaker at conference or to win an obscure industry award
4. Contact people you you’ve never met met to try to sell them something they don’t want
