Global Marketing manages the roll out of Tourism Australia’s marketing strategy, ensuring that Australia’s tourism marketing efforts continue to cut through in the competitive international marketplace.

In her previous role as Tourism Australia's General Manager Creative, Content and Campaigns, Susan helped set the creative marketing direction for Tourism Australia, overseeing the recent Dundee, Undiscover Australia and Australia Inc. campaigns.

Luke Waldren

Executive General Manager, Customer, Marketing & Product, TAB

Luke Waldren has over 25 years in brand strategy, advertising, communications, marketing & more recently product and co-founded the branded content business Abundant Media. Luke joined Grey Group (WPP) in 2010 running their Melbourne office and then became CEO of Grey Group Australia 2012 with responsibilities across Melbourne, Sydney & Canberra.

Luke joined Sportsbet as General Manager, Marketing in April 2014 through to September 2018. In September 2019, Luke joined Tabcorp as Executive General Manager, Marketing & Customer (wagering & media division). From September 2019 Luke became the Executive General Manager, Customer, Marketing & Product. Luke is a people focused leader with a track record in obtaining growth for people & business alike and has a strong track record in leading big ideas for impact.

Monique Macleod

Chief Marketing Officer, Commonwealth Bank

Prior to her appointment in December 2017, she has lead both the Brand and Sponsorship and Consumer Marketing teams.

Monique brings the customer voice to the executive table. She knows the tremendous role that CommBank plays in the lives of our customers, in the communities we serve, with our people and for our shareholders. Monique has played an integral role in driving CommBank’s leading position, launching Can, one of Australia’s most respected brand platforms.

She has twice been recognised with a CEO Award for her go to market strategies as well as leading the team to win the Mumbrella Marketing Team of the Year Award. Monique was recognised in the CMO awards as one of the top 20 CMO’s in Australia. She is a highly admired leader, who coaches and develops talent to grow marketing leaders of the future & is a passionate supporter of diversity in the team she builds.

When she is not at work, Monique spends time with her husband and two girls and is an avid skier and paddle boarder.

Justin Graham

Group CEO, M&C Saatchi Group (Moderator)

As Group CEO of M&C Saatchi Group, Australia's largest independent agency network, Justin oversees a team of over 450 media, creative, data, design and communications specialists across Australia and New Zealand.

Bringing over 20 years’ experience to the current role, his key focus is partnering with M&C Saatchi’s diverse range of clients on their marketing and business transformations, bringing the best of the Groups capabilities together. Widely regarded as the best strategist in Australian marketing and advertising, he advises ASX-listed, private and public sector clients, helping them shape the way in which customers and audiences experience their brands.

Justin is passionate about the role of creativity and how it drives business opportunities forward, a unique approach that has seen businesses unlock new customer value through their entire ecosystem. A management consultant in a former life, Justin has spent his career contributing widely to the industry, sitting on a number of panels and think tanks, regularly judging awards both here in Australia and internationally, is a regular media commentator, lectures at the University of Sydney and is a member of the M&C Saatchi Global Executive.

In October 2013, the Australian Financial Review’s BOSS Magazine anointed Justin one of its six Young Executives of the Year, the only advertising industry representative in the exclusive group, with judges praising his ‘inspirational and effective leadership’. Additional accolades include ANZ Planner of the Year, awarded by Campaign Asia Pacific in 2015/16.

Bec has been working as a professional communicator for twenty years, beginning as a vocalist and vocal coach, then retraining in 2004 to become a PR professional.

She’s the founder and Managing Director of The Comms Department, a PR, corporate communications and crisis management agency where she and her team have work with some of Australia’s biggest and best-known media, entertainment, travel and lifestyle brands.

Bec’s professional experience is also backed by study – a Graduate Diploma in Media and Communications, a Certificate in Social Psychology, and a Bachelor of Music.

A member of oOh!media’s executive leadership team for 20 years, Noel oversees critical business functions from sales to product development and asset rollouts, to operations and commercial contract management, to business development. Managing oOh!’s Delivery Excellence team, Noel oversees client services, scheduling, production and design to ensure delivery of seamless campaigns.

With 30 years’ experience with media clients and agencies, Noel has been responsible for overseeing complex commercial contracts and played a key role in successfully integrating oOh!media’s acquisitions into the business. These include Cactus Imaging, the regional billboard business Sports and Outdoor Media, and the large format and/or airport media specialists, Media Puzzle and Eye Corp. Noel is also on the board of The Outdoor Media Association (OMA).

Noel also played an important role in developing and maintaining oOh!media’s long-running relationships with Roads and Maritime Services (NSW), VicTrack (Victoria), Department of Transport and Main Roads (Queensland) and the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (SA), among others. Rob is Tourism Australia’s Executive General Manager of Strategy and Research, which is tasked with setting Tourism Australia’s objectives, devising strategies to help achieve them, and ensuring that Tourism Australia and the tourism industry have the right data to make those decisions and understand their impacts.  Before Rob joined TA he was the Head of Strategy at Clemenger working on a range of brands including Tourism Australia for six years. Rob penned Tourism Australia’s brand vision in 2013 and led the strategy on the Restaurant Australia, Aquatic and Coastal, Undiscover, and Aussie News Today campaigns. In his 15 year career in advertising Rob has worked across a large range businesses including several travel brands such as EasyJet, Helloworld, Virgin, Qantas and Tourism Tasmania.
