MySpace launches mobile ads
Social media portal MySpace has launched targeted display advertising for its mobile platform, which receives about a third of a million Australian visitors a month.
According to the company, it is delivering about 85m pages per month of the MySpace mobile service, which is a stripped down version of MySpace.
On offer are display ads on high traffic pages for a CPM of $25, or a brand microsite package
The main ays the MySpace mobile site is being accessed is through applications on the likes of the iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Telstra Hiptop platforms; via telco’s own mobile portals or directly via a mobile device browswer

on those figures they supplied it means each user is viewing 255 pages per month.
that means they must feel the revenue op per month is over $2m ($25cpm x 85,000)

Doubt they’ll sell it all at $25CPM. Will probably end up being about $12 after they’ve discounted, packaged and had left over inventory.
