New PR agency Prosper Public Relations launches in Brisbane

Former Lorna Jane global PR Manager Belinda Zordan has launched a new public relations company in Brisbane, Prosper Public Relations.

Zordan was the communications manager for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games for eight months after she worked at Lorna Jane for just over two years in 2014. Prior to this, she did a 10-month stint at smile.com.au Limited as national marketing and communications manager.

On the launch of her new business venture, Zordan said: “Our name is Prosper Strategic Relationships, as we strategically connect our clients with the key players in their industries so they can establish successful long-term and mutually beneficial relationships.

“In an industry that’s constantly evolving, Prosper doesn’t just rely on media releases, but rather finds creative ways to capture the attention of journalists, bloggers and influencers in a way that’s speedy and smart,” said Zordan.

According to Zordan the agency will help unite brands with traditional media and deliver success with “social media buzz” with the help of endorsers and influencers.

Clients of Prosper Public Relations include Fisher & Paykel and Great Lake Taupo.

Zordan has also previously freelanced for various agencies and spent time at Clemenger BBDO.

Before joining the PR industry Zordan was a TV journalist between 2002 and 2005, working at Win in Launceston, Nine Network and ABC News.
