SEN SA relocates to new studio
SEN SA has a new home after relocating to a brand new studio in Adelaide CBD.
The announcement:
BRAND NEW HOME OF SPORT FOR 1629 SEN SA
Sports fans in South Australia have a unique new home of sport with SEN SA relocating to a new cutting edge showcase studio in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.
In a South Australia first, SEN SA has moved to 1 King William Street – the iconic location on the corner of King William and North Terrace.
It enables sports fans to get up close and personal with their favourite on- air stars due to the studio’s unique streetfront view.
To be known as SEN SA’s Studio Lumo, as part of a unique partnership with leading energy retailer Lumo Energy SA, the venue will create and house locally made South Australian radio, digital and TV content.
Port Adelaide star Kane Cornes and four-time Central Districts premiership player Andrew Hayes – hosts of Breakfast with Kane & Haysey, are among the local talent whose live shows will come Studio Lumo each week, alongside SEN SA’s drivetime duo Kym Dillon and Michelangelo Rucci on Afternoon’s with Kymbo & the Rooch.
Breakfast with Kane and Hayesy is already also simulcast on 1539 Radio Tab SA.
Pacific Star Network Chief Executive Officer, Craig Hutchison said the new studios were a direct result of SEN SA’s success since its launch only a year ago.
“South Australia is home to some of the most obsessed sports fans in Australia and we are delighted to celebrate that with a new dedicated Adelaide studio in such an iconic location,” Hutchison said.
“Our vision is for SEN SA’s Studio Lumo to be part of the sporting experience of the town. It’s in the heart of the ever growing city activity and a decent Malcolm Blight torpedo from Adelaide Oval.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the passionate response from Adelaide listeners so we are more committed than ever to providing 24/7 dedicated sport radio content – delivered by some of the biggest names in sport.
‘We thank Lumo Energy SA for powering this unique showcase of South Australian content.”
Lumo Energy SA Chief Executive Iain Graham said he was proud to be supporting South Australian content via Studio Lumo.
“We are a local energy provider so we’re proud to be a part of a team that will be dedicated to covering local sport, news and content for South Australians.”
SEN SA is primed for a massive sporting summer, with exclusive South Australian play by play radio rights to the summer of test cricket, Big Bash, tennis and Adelaide 36ers basketball.
