Seven wins Tuesday as Home And Away tops entertainment

Seven celebrated a network share win on a quiet Tuesday when Home And Away’s average of 650,000 metro viewers making it the top-rating program.

A 28.9% network share was enough to give Seven victory over Nine’s 27.1%, Ten with 18.8% and ABC with 16.1% on the night.

In other entertainment programming, Seven’s The Chase Australia brought in 597,000 metro viewers

In primetime, Australian Ninja Warrior had 588,000 metro viewers for Nine, with Big Brother taking 568,000 metro viewers for Seven and Ten’s MasterChef Australia airing to 561,000 metro viewers.

The top-rating program overall on Tuesday was Seven News with 1.105 million metro viewers. Seven News also took the 18-49 and 25-54 demos, while Big Brother held 16-39.

The  #1 single-channel overnight was Seven with a 20.8% share, while 10 Bold was the top multi-channel on 3.9%.
