Tania Kullmann resigns as Kantar CEO, Jon Foged promoted

WPP AUNZ’s research agency Kantar has seen the departure of its CEO Tania Kullmann who resigned from the agency to focus on her family.

Replacing Kullmann is Jon Foged who has been promoted to the role of Australian CEO from his previous two-year stint as the chief strategic and business development officer of Kantar APAC, and the CEO of Kantar Myanmar and Cambodia.

Foged first joined Kantar TNS in 2004 as a group account director

Foged will relocate from Singapore and has already been working locally to help manage the Australian business through the transition period. Mumbrella understands Kullmann has been on leave since last year, focusing on her family.

Mike Connaghan, CEO of WPP AUNZ, said: “For the last five months Jon has been care-taking the leadership of Kantar Australia with great success. He is a seasoned CEO with a proven track record, and is both very people- oriented and client-driven. He will no doubt continue the legacy of success that the Kantar Group has achieved in this market.”

Connaghan said the group has a strong desire to work with Kullman in the future.

“We highly value the kind of talent that she has brought to our business and we will be exploring opportunities that will allow us to benefit from her wisdom and leadership on an ongoing basis.
