TUI unveils latest ‘Brewing legends’ TV spot

Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has created a new ‘Brewing legends’ spot for Tui beer. In the ad, the Hurricanes rugby team plays a pre-season game in a farmer’s paddock opposite the Tui brewery.

The spot was directed Miles Murphy at Flying Start. The agency team included executive creative director Jeremy Taine and creative group heads Brad Collett and Slade Gill. On the client team was Jarrod Bear, William Papesch, Rene de Monchy and Clare Morgan.

Brilliant! I’d read about the game being staged in the paddock a few months ago but what a great way to turn it into an & an inspired soundtrack too. Could be the best beer ad this year.

Best beer ad? Yeah, right! That ad was my childhood, minus the beer. Was that John Rowles on the soundtrack? Tui ads are legendary in Nizillind.
