Pitch X – Pitch Harder
Pitch X is back!
Due to the popularity of Pitch X we’re bringing it back with a vengeance!
Again we’re going to be teaming up with some of Sydney’s best startups, and start-up founders to help you grow your pitching skills and to help grow the Sydney Startup community.
This is a friendly, fun, pitching competition, providing attendees with an opportunity to practice and refine their pitch and progress their startups’ message. We encourage everyone to do a 1-minute pitch; it’s a great way to speak and connect with the startup community. In the pitch, you’ll answer key questions: what problem are you tackling? What is the solution you’re creating?
It doesn’t matter what you’re pitching for:
-Pitch for a co-founder
-Pitch for support
-Pitch for resources
-Pitch for funding
So come on down and just pitch in and pitch us!

Format
You can pitch in any way, but you may want to try to include which of the following is relevant to you;
Intro yourself and/or your team
Problem
Solution
Stage or traction
What do you need? Support, funding, resources etc
Anything else you want to include
The Night
Anyone can put their hand up to pitch on the night. The first round will consist of 1-minute pitches. Our Judges will choose the top 3 pitches to progress to the 2nd round.
For the second round, select pitches from Academy Xi’s Growth Marketing Class will enter. The judges will then pick the best of round 2 to progress to the finals.
Finalists will make a final pitch to win the night. Stay tuned: We’re lining up some awesome prizes!
